Program Staff

A lifelong Lutheran, Pastor Dan has served ELCA congregations and institutions his entire life. He holds degrees from Creighton University, Wartburg Theological Seminary, and Augustana College (Rock Island). He also works as a spiritual director and retreat director.

Linda received nurses’ training at the former Moline Lutheran Hospital and has worked as the parish nurse at First Lutheran since 1991.  Her care and concern for the members of First Lutheran is much appreciated by them.

Steve Steely has worked as a professional church musician for over forty years.  At First Lutheran he directs the choirs and bell choirs, and serves as organist.  He also works at Temple Emanuel, St. Pius X Catholic Church, and at several area funeral homes.  He is a frequent recitalist.
